The River-to-River Trail Society will offer a guided hike Saturday, October 8, from Sand Cave to Bell Smith Springs. The hike is open to the public and free of charge. Meet at 10:00 a.m. at Hunting Branch picnic area at Bell Smith Springs, off Forest Road 848 in Pope County. Bring own water and a snack. This is a moderately strenuous hike, intended for hikers in reasonably good condition. Sturdy shoes highly recommended. No dogs please. For information call ((618) 276-4864 or (618) 499-2337.
