Hogrock & Gathering to be Taxed

Rep. Brandon Phelps has introduced legislation that will allow entities to place a tax on ticket sales to gatherings like the Hogrock or The Gathering in Hardin County.   The legislation will only affect counties of 35000 people or less.  

The legislation has just been introduced and final details have not been worked out.  Hardin County officials state the events cost the county about 20 to 25000 per year in extra costs.
