Gunner & Murphy Win AR Awards

Congratulations to Gunner Wilson for earning his 550 point A.R. trophy.  Gunner is the son of Ryan and Jennifer Wilson.  He is a student in Ms. Crane's 3rd grade class.

Congratulations to Murphy Foster for earning her 550 point & 600 point A.R. trophies.  Murphy is the daughter of Tom and Sheila Foster.  She is a student in Mrs. Crayne's 2nd grade class.

Competes in Spelling Bee

Congratulations Michaela!

Michaela Springer, Gallatin County Spelling Bee Champ, recently competed in the Tri-State Spelling Bee, sponsored by Evansville Courier and Press. One hundred seventy seven students and Michaela took a written exam in the morning to determine whether they could stay for the afternoon oral competition.

Twenty one students along with Michaela earned 100% on the written exam qualifying them to compete in the second round. During the second round Michaela placed eleventh out of the twenty two students competing.

Michaela is the daughter of Michael and Rebecca Springer of New Haven, Illinois.
